This tournament is a stroke player event to be played under the rules of Golf of the R&G, USGA, GGA and the local rules of Achimota Golf Club as shown on the scorecard. a. The tournament is open to all qualifying golfers. b. Players must have an official handicap by a recognized Federation or Association and must be ready to provide proof of that handicap at registration. c. Draw for round 2 will be subject to gross score order from round 1, draw for round 3, subject to total score from first and second rounds. The committee reserves the right to amend a draw if it deems necessary. d. Professional Field will be cut to 21 players for the regular and 9 players for the ladies after Day 2. In the event of a tie for the 21st and 9th positions, the tournament committee and the PGA decision will be final. e. In the event of a tie for first place, there will be a sudden death play-off as follows, until a winner emerges: 1. Hole 1 & 18 2. Repeat cycle from Hole 1 & 18 In the event of there still being a tie there will be a card play-off starting from the first Hole and playing the course a per the card until a result is achieved. f. Player must arrive at the starting tee at least 5 minutes before their scheduled tee time. If the player arrives within 5 minutes after the starting time, the penalty for failure to start on time is a 2 strokes penalty. If the player arrives after 5 minutes the player is disqualified. g. Amateur players are permitted to use devices that measure distance only. The use of devices that gauge or measure oother conditions that might affect a player's play. (e.g. wind or gradient) is not permitted. h. Disputes- In the event of any disputes or a need to change any terms or conditions of the tournament, the decision of the tournament committee will be final.
